Killer Bees are not just our enemy, they are starting to attack the ecological balance of nature in ways that had not occured to most of us before. The Amazon rainforest is likely to be the first victim of this natural disaster if man does not intervene. After all, it was our fault to begin with. Wasn’t it?
Killer bees are honey bees gone bananas. They were originally honey bees like the ones we are used to. Then they were mixed with an agressive strain of African bees as a research project. These "experimental" bees escaped and we hav yet to see what the extent of the damage that will result from this.
If you had any doubt of the danger they pose to mankind the videos on this page should convince you. However, don’t panic at the sight of every bee or swarm you see. They may not be killer bees. Also do not tackle them yourself. Get the pros in. If they are normal bees your local beekeeper will most likely be interested in getting his hands on them. After all, there is likely to be a shortage of bees in the near future, if there isn't already as a result of Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). So if the bees are not causing a problem, first call the beekeeper, then if the beekeepers are not interested or decide that they are killer bees, call in the pros.
